Tips for accessing information and resources
There is a wealth of information regarding many disorders. The key is to be proactive. A simple Google search can reveal a lot of information about a given condition. Do not be afraid to contact local agencies regarding physical disabilities--that is what these people are there for! Explain the situation of your student and classroom setup, along with what instructional goals you may have. If there isn't a ready made soloution, organizations such as the Wendell Foster's Campus for Developmental Disabilites will work with you to find a solution. Remember, that if there is a need for equipment, you can contact your administrators to find financial means of supplying such tools. Below is more information you may find useful to you!
